RTV Fluorosilicone Expands NuSil Technology’s Line of Aircraft Adhesives

Carpinteria, California – May 15, 2008 – NuSil Technology (www.nusil.com), a cutting-edge

and photonics, has launched an extension to its line of adhesives/sealants. FS3-3730
fluorosilicone adhesive/sealant is a one-part, fast-curing, room-temperature vulcanizing
(RTV) silicone that provides excellent elastomeric properties
“With the addition of FS3-3730, we are able to offer our customers another high-quality
option for aviation applications,“

aggressively to most surfaces and provides excellent
performance when protecting or bonding hardware components exposed to gasoline or
aviation fuels.“
FS3-3730 is designed to seal and bond without the need for a primer. In addition, this
silicone resists degradation when exposed to jet fuel, solvents, gasoline or crude oil,
making it an ideal material for applications that involve a broad range of operating
temperatures.
