President and Chief Commercial Officer
Scott Mraz has been a member of the NuSil Board of Directors since joining the Company in 2005. He currently serves as President and CCO and has global responsibility for all strategic and business development activities. Scott brings a balance of operational and financial management to the company, leveraging his executive management track record with a combination of private equity and investment banking experience.
Prior to 2005, Scott was a private equity investor with Quad-C Management, an operations-focused private equity firm, where he helped structure and execute the firm’s investment in NuSil. While at Quad-C, Scott focused on investments in the healthcare and specialty chemical industries, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for companies ranging from medical device startups to established, healthcare-focused specialty materials manufacturers. He actively supported management teams in the areas of strategy, business development, operations management and financial governance.
Before joining Quad-C, Scott was a private equity investor with Apax Partners (f.k.a. Saunders, Karp & Megrue), and an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. in Mergers & Acquisitions and Bank of America in Leveraged Finance.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) from Ithaca College.
