Job Summary

Working independently and in coordination with the Lead Operator Manufacturing, or Supervisor is responsible for the accurate and compliant manufacturing of various silicone products, utilizing a variety of automated and semi-automated equipment and processes. Operates mixing machines, coating machines, and cutting and packaging machines under SOP and GMP guidelines. Will perform basic trouble-shooting and maintain equipment cleanliness. Interfaces and works with engineering and senior manufacturing personnel in identifying and implementing process improvements and process validations. Monitors and records critical process parameters Performs a wide variety of skilled duties in the preparation and operation of process equipment. Accurately uses computerized operating systems to run and monitor manufacturing equipment, if required.


High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of OSHA, NFPC, Hazwoper, and other governmental regulatory requirements (e.g. 21CFR part 820, cGMP, ISO, FDA, etc.) helpful. Also, past experience working with waste generation, classification and dispose would be beneficial. Computer literate (MS WORD, EXCEL). Job Summary

NuSil Technology is seeking a proactive / career focused Senior Financial Analyst to provide direct financial planning and analysis services to the Company's key business leaders including: the Executive Team, Controller, and Business Unit directors.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with demonstrated expertise in implementing robust reporting analytics from the ground up. This position reports directly to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, and will work alongside other decision makers throughout the enterprise domestically and internationally.

Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Analyze operating results for multiple business units and review results with the FP&A Manager, Controller and Business Unit leaders. Investigate and quantify impact of variances;
• Participate in the preparation of segmented budgets and assist with the annual enterprise-wide
• Develop and maintain driver-based forecasting models utilizing advanced Excel modeling;
• Consolidate and analyze department expenses and review with department/functional leadership in support NuSil’s Cost Optimization initiative;
• Perform ad-hoc financial/revenue analysis to support business decisions as required.

Monitor Corporate Strategic Initiatives:
• Liaise with NuSil leadership to track and evaluate the performance of corporate goals including: profitability, internal / external MarCom initiatives, safety performance, new product launches, geographic expansion, infrastructure augmentation, manufacturing performance, and personnel initiatives.


• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA preferred;
• 5 to 10 years of comparable experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities;
• Advanced Excel including “If” logic, lookups and pivot tables, the ability navigate efficiently and to work with large sets of data to develop knowledge is essential; ERP expertise is preferred;
• Knowledge of batch process manufacturing and chemical processes are highly preferred;
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills;
• Solid management accounting and financial reporting expertise; and
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary

Reports to the Controller and under limited supervision involved in several on-going finance/accounting projects. The Senior Inventory Cost Accountant position is accountable for the cost accounting function for the enterprise, costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. This position will requires the ability to construct and monitor cost-effective data accumulation systems needed; and provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

Data Collection
• Collects data to determine cost of business activities such as inventory costing;
• Creates and reviews the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems; and
• Analyzes and assesses the impact of changes to cost flow assumptions.

• Updates standard costs in the bill of materials;
• Calculates cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close;
• Prepares excess and obsolescence reserve calculations and provides recommendations;
• Prepares Lower of Cost or Market calculations and provides recommendations;
• Calculates and analyses burden costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles;
• Investigates cycle counting variances and resolve issues;
• Reviews batch processing activity, including the investigation of significant variances;
• Works with the manufacturing team to locate, cost and dispose of obsolete inventory.

• Reports on material margins by product, geography, entity, and business unit;
• Reports on breakeven points by products, work centers, business units and geographic entity;
• Performs cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group;
• Reports on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances;
• Conducts ongoing process constraint analyses;
• Creates/develops ad hoc reporting to support/assist continuous improvement; and
• Supports the annual financial statement audit

Additional duties will be assigned as business circumstances warrant; must be regular and punctual in attendance.


Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in related field (e.g., finance, accounting, economics); batch process manufacturing required, chemistry acumen strongly preferred; minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility required. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Ability to liaise and collaborate with all levels of employees required. Computer literacy required. Advanced Excel and ERP required. Macola and PULSE experience a plus.
